Untitled 3 is a site-specific installation inspired by traditional Cypriot Phytoitiko weaving. Phytitiko, originating from Phyti village in Cyprus’s Paphos district, is known for its use in bedding and homeware, often incorporating recycled coloured fabric. The installation features repetitive coloured wool, forming a dome-like structure, reflecting my conceptual research and photographic practice based on the Greek Orthodox church and its structure. This project is part of a larger body of work centred on a demolished church, where I created a site-specific piece using a similar process of repetitive fabric, resembling its lost dome.
